Welcome to our Remembrance Garden of Tributes dedicated to the memory of our loved ones from the Railway Family. This is a place where we can remember and celebrate the lives of those we hold dear who have contributed to the railway.
What a bright light Billy was in our lives since he joined our railway family only a short time ago. A life cut too short. It feels like he’s being around much longer such is the impact he has made.
Simon joined the railway in October 1988 and worked alongside many people in his years as a telecoms engineer. Most will remember Simon for his quick humour and love of West Ham Utd FC where he was a lifelong season ticket holder. Simon left behind a son and two step-sons as well as his partner of 13 years.
Jim was an important member of the team & a very colourful character, He is missed by his colleagues for his good nature & positive attitude when at work. A true gentleman.
My Dad, our hero was taken too young at the age of just 61 from his wife Carol, two daughters Leanne & Gemma, and three grandsons Corey, Harvey and Lawson. Steve was also a friend to many, and can only be described as a “local legend” in his home town of Blaenrhondda in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
